I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a good anti-virus/spyware software program for their computer. It scans very well, and fast, too. It is also very easy on your compuer's resources. It's not a resource hog that slows down your computer to a crawl like Norton and McAfee does. CA is a good product. Avoid using those cheap software anti-virus programs like Norton and McAfee. If you use those, you will be asking for trouble and frustration. Stick with CA products. I installed CA on my computer and it does a very good job at protecting me from viruses and spyware. I was first introduced to the CA line of security products when Yahoo utilized them in their free Online Protection Suite. I really liked the streamlined simplicity of the CA program, its non-intrusive updating, and most of all its effectiveness in keeping my systems safe from the bad guys. When the contract with CA ended, Yahoo courted and enlisted one of the bigger Anti-Virus companies to assume the responsibility; but even though Yahoo's Online Security remained free, I still favored the CA program over the new.

So, what did I do? Yep, I turned my back on Yahoo's freebie program and invested in the CA suite of products -- on my own dollar! How's that for a product testimonial? Although I had my choice of downloading from the CA site or buying the physical CD, I went with the CD, mainly so that I could more easily re-install the program should a system problem arise in my equipment somewhere down the line (believe me, it's happened before!). Also, the Amazon price was actually cheaper than CA's own online download. How could I go wrong?

With the program installed, and with various upgrades, enhancements, and additional product suites available at any time through CA, I'm happily content in knowing that my computer's security is working dilligently behind the scenes to keep me trouble-free! Now, if only I could stay off the computer and get some housework done... -- When I find something I like, I stick with it!
