I was hesitant to buy this due to bad reviews, but I've used Norton Systemworks forever. I recently got a newer used computer with Windows XP, so needed a new version of Norton. Mine was Version 2000. I had no problem installing, startup, or using this software (2008) and recommend it to anyone. -- Norton Sysremworks 2008 Standard Edition

I bought this last year and it works just fine. I had no trouble installing it. I did not have trouble removing the old version of Norton, and I had no trouble installing this version. It works like it is supposed to, and is not nearly as resource greedy as some of the previous version. I am happy with it. -- Improved

I have always had Norton AV. My only complaint on this version is that it warns me of potential threats a little too often. Just protect me, don't lecture. There is no way (that I've found) to shut off the alerts. Other than that it's a good product. -- Good product. Shipped on time and was as expected.
